Role Description:
The SMT Incharge will be responsible for managing and supervising the entire SMT production line. This includes overseeing machine operations, line setup, manpower allocation, maintenance scheduling, quality checks, and ensuring on-time production as per the plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily SMT production as per the production schedule.
- Monitor line productivity, machine utilization, and production efficiency.
- Ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Supervise SMT machines such as Printer, Pick & Place Machine, Reflow Oven, SPI, AOI.
- Ensure proper machine setup, changeover, and parameter verification.
- Monitor solder paste usage, stencil condition, feeder setup, and machine performance.
- Reduce machine downtime and improve OEE.
- Monitor first-off approval before mass production.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Train new employees on machine operation, ESD, quality, and safety.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure proper maintenance records.
- Minimize rejection and rework.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of SMT production processes.
- Experience with Screen Printer, Pick & Place, AOI, SPI, and Reflow machines.
- Hands-on experience in operating and managing Fuji NXT and Panasonic SMT Mounter machines.
- Strong knowledge of TRI AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and TRI SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) systems.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
Qualifications:
Diploma/B.Tech in Electronics or relevant field
