Role Description:

The SMT Operator is responsible for opera ng and monitoring Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines to ensure smooth production, maintain quality standards, and achieve daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate SMT production line machines such as Solder Paste Printer (DEK), Pick & Place Machine(FUJI/Panasonic), SPI, AOI, and Reflow Oven.
• Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and basic operational checks.
• Load PCB magazines, feeders, reels, and electronic components as per production requirements.
• Verify component part numbers, feeder locations, and PCB models before production.
• Monitor machine performance and report any alarms or abnormalities to the Process Engineer or Supervisor.
• Perform feeder replacement and component replenishment during production.
• Follow production plans and achieve daily output targets.
• Ensure proper handling of solder paste and electronic components.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and the work area following 5S standards.
• Record production data, machine downtime, and rejection details.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and all safety guidelines.
• Assist the maintenance team during preventive maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes.
• Ability to operate production machines safely.
• Understanding of electronic components and PCB handling.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• Experience in the electronic surveillance or related industry is a plus

Experience: 2–5 Years (Electronics Manufacturing)
